Trained as a teacher and worked in education for thirty six years, fifteen years as a teacher and twenty one as a Primary School Principal. Now retired and enjoying my renaissance.

I have always had a great interest in sport and particularly football (soccer) and have supported Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) for 47 years. My interest In Spurs has enabled me to write articles for a Spurs' fans web-site for the past six years. It was through writing for the Topspurs web-site that I discovered the enjoyment of writing and I have also written some articles for Spurs' fanzines and Sportingo a sports website. I am a founder member of a newly established writing project, the Spurs Writers Club.

I enjoy reading especially books about sport and the novels of Dick Francis and John Francome are among my favourites. Novels by John Grisham and Richard North Patterson have recently come onto my list of must read books.

I studied history as part of my university degree course but while not very taken with dates and events I have in recent years developed a great interest in the history of Tottenham Hotspur and to this end started my blogsite - Tottenham-Spurs in History.
